Privacy Policy
How information submitted through this website is collected, used, protected and retained by Zanti Pharmacy.
Last updated: 18 July 2026
Our approach to privacy
Zanti Pharmacy respects the privacy of people who use this website. This policy explains what information the website may collect, why it is used, how it is handled and how to contact us with a privacy question.
Please provide only the information needed for your enquiry. Do not send unrelated health information, identity documents, payment details or other sensitive material that the pharmacy has not requested.
Information you choose to provide
When you use the contact form, the information you submit may include your name, telephone number, email address, enquiry type, subject, message and preferred contact method. This information is stored in a secure Google Firebase database so that a pharmacy representative can respond to your enquiry.
When secure prescription submission is enabled, information may also include the prescription file you upload, an optional message and records needed to manage the request. Prescription files are stored in private, access-controlled Firebase storage and are not made publicly accessible. Prescription information can be sensitive and must not be submitted through an ordinary contact form.
Technical and security information
The website’s hosting provider and Google Firebase may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as the date and time of a request, browser or device information, network information and security events.
Sensitive prescription content, full form messages and uploaded files are not copied into public analytics, client-side code, routine application logs or error reports.
Why information is used
Information submitted through an enabled service may be used to respond to an enquiry, review a prescription request, contact you using your stated preference, protect the website from misuse, maintain an audit trail for authorised administrative actions and meet applicable professional or legal responsibilities.
Submitting an enquiry does not enrol you in marketing. Zanti Pharmacy does not use prescription information for advertising and does not sell personal information submitted through the website.
Prescription files
Prescription upload remains disabled until private, access-controlled Firebase storage and authorised staff access are configured. Files are never placed in a public storage area or exposed through a listing that anyone can browse.
When enabled, access is limited to authorised pharmacy reviewers who must sign in before a file link can be issued. Administrative access and status changes are recorded without exposing prescription content in a general list view.
Service providers and sharing
Zanti Pharmacy uses carefully selected providers for website hosting and for its Google Firebase database, storage and authentication services. A provider receives only the information needed to perform its contracted function and is configured with appropriate access controls.
Information may also be disclosed where required by an applicable obligation under Zambian law or where necessary to protect a person or the service, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect submitted information. These include encrypted transport, validation of submissions, private file storage, role-based access, secure authentication, restricted logs and safe deletion procedures.
No internet service can promise absolute security. If a secure feature is not configured, the website keeps it disabled and directs customers to an appropriate contact channel rather than simulating a successful submission.
Retention and deletion
Contact enquiries, prescription request records and prescription files are kept only for a period that is necessary for the relevant purpose and any applicable responsibilities. Prescription files have a configured deletion period rather than being retained indefinitely.
Records may be deleted, anonymised or retained for longer only where there is an appropriate reason to do so.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising trackers, non-essential analytics or marketing cookies. The only browser storage used is that which is essential for the secure administrative sign-in used by authorised pharmacy staff. No cookie banner is displayed because no non-essential cookies are set.
If any optional technology is introduced in future, this policy will be updated and an appropriate consent choice provided before that technology is activated.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may contact Zanti Pharmacy to ask what personal information you have submitted through the website, request correction of inaccurate information, or ask about deletion or restriction where applicable. A request may require reasonable identity checks before information is disclosed or changed.
Some information may need to be retained where an applicable responsibility requires it. The pharmacy will explain the position when responding to a request.
